After rave reviews from Kenton Theatre audience members, Live Next To The Apollo returns to Henley-On-Thames this Summer.  In February we brought the likes of Laura Smyth (star of Live At The Apollo, Have I Got News For You and 8 Out of Ten Cats Does Count Down) and Stephen K Amos (star of Live At The Apollo, Mock The Week and Have I Got News For You) to the Kenton Theatre.

Jen Brister – Jen Brister is a critically acclaimed stand up comedian and writer who has been seen on BBC’s Live at the Apollo, Mock the Week, Frankie Boyle’s New World Order, Hypothetical and Sara Pascoe’s Comedy Lectures on Dave. She is a regular performer on the UK and international comedy circuits and has written and performed on BBC Radio 4’s The News Quiz, The Now Show and presented for BBC 6 Music.

Jeff Innocent – Multi award winning comedian Jeff Innocent has reached legendary status among his peers and audiences alike by staying at the top of his game for almost 3 decades. Finlay Christie – At 19, Finlay became one of the youngest ever winners of the prestigious So You Think You’re Funny competition, following in the footsteps of Peter Kay, Lee Mack and Sarah Millican. He is a viral sensation and internet superstar with nearly 1,000,000 followers across Instagram, TikTok and YouTube. His material is based around his gilded upbringing and privileged experience as a Gen Z; always self-depricating with good grace. He has appeared on Live At The Apollo, 8 out of 10 Cats Does Countdown and Bake Off Extra Slice. He is hot, new(ish) talent and is highly in demand!

Thor Stenhaug – Norwegian comedian Thor Stenhaug has just returned from his debut solo UK tour. He completely sold-out his run at the Soho Theatre in September, which followed on from his sold-out Edinburgh Fringe run last summer. Thor has offered tour support for big hitters such as Josh Widdecombe, Jack Dee and Fern Brady. He was shortlisted for British Comedian of the Year – despite not being British!
