What is the Community Fund levy?

The Kenton Theatre Community Fund is intended to assist local groups who are underrepresented in the arts, including community support groups, cultural organisations, educational organisations, and charities. It provides financial and technical support to these organisations for a one-off performance on a single day at The Kenton theatre. The fund is collected through donations as well as through a levy of 25p included in the price of each ticket. The money cannot be used for any purpose other than providing financial assistance to community organisations who would like to perform at The Kenton theatre but are not able to do so without financial support.

Can I take food and drink into the theatre?

We have an excellent range of drinks, snacks and confectionery at the theatre, and ask audiences not to bring their own to the theatre. The sales of drinks, snacks and confectionery are an essential part of our income and enable us to continue bringing the best productions to Henley so we encourage visitors to buy from us.

Glass is strictly prohibited in the auditorium. Any drinks need to be transferred into plastic cups.

Does the theatre have disabled seating and how do I book access tickets?

The Kenton does provide seating for users with access needs. See our Accessibility information to learn more.

When will I receive my tickets for the show?

Depending on how you choose to receive your tickets they may arrive via email, post or you can collect them from the Box Office up to 30 minutes before your chosen performance. E-tickets will be delivered separately to your order confirmation email and will be sent to the lead booker.

What happens if I can’t attend the show?

Tickets cannot be refunded or exchanged after purchase. At our discretion we may accept tickets for resale or exchange, but this will be subject to a small admin fee of £2.50 per ticket. Please contact our Box Office team for more details.

What if a show is cancelled?

If a performance is cancelled for any reason we will issue a refund or a credit note.

What is the latecomer policy?

This varies show to show. Latecomers can usually be admitted at a suitable gap within the performance.

Do you offer concession tickets?

When applicable, concession tickets are available to Senior Citizens (65+), Children (2-16), Students, Kenton Friends and Kenton Keepers. A family ticket includes 2 adults and 2 children. Only one concession can be applied to a ticket at any one time and proof of status is required.
