Dates & timings

Kenton Carols will take place over three evenings in 2026, with up to six school choirs performing each night.

Tuesday 8 December
Wednesday 9 December
Thursday 10 December

Each choir will be asked to arrive at 4pm on the day of their performance, giving everyone plenty of time to settle in, get used to the space and prepare before the audience arrives.

Before the show

Once schools arrive, there will be time for each choir to go over the spacing of their own performance on The Kenton stage.

We will also bring all the participating choirs together to rehearse the two group numbers so that everyone feels comfortable and ready before the performance begins.

Show time

The performance will begin at 6pm.

Each evening will feature the individual school performances, followed by the two group numbers with all the young people performing together on stage.

Each show will last approximately one hour 30 minutes.

What schools need to know

Please make sure that all pupils and accompanying teachers are able to arrive at The Kenton by 4pm and remain until the end of the performance.
