Kenton Youth Bursary Form

Could your child discover their theatre? A fully funded place at Kenton Youth could make it possible.

Bursary places are available for young people aged 9 to 16 who live or attend school in the South Oxfordshire District Council area, thanks to South Oxfordshire District Council.

Kenton Youth bursary application

We want Kenton Youth to be open to children and young people who would love to take part, regardless of their family’s financial circumstances.

For the first year of Kenton Youth, eight fully funded bursary places are available.

Bursaries are designed to support families who may find the full fee difficult to afford. This could include children and young people who are eligible for Pupil Premium or Free School Meals, looked-after children, neurodivergent students, young people with an EHCP, or families experiencing financial hardship.

This is not a tick-box process. We understand that every family’s situation is different, and applications will be considered with care, sensitivity and discretion.

All applications will be treated confidentially and reviewed by The Kenton Theatre Board of Trustees.

Bursary places are currently funded for Year One of Kenton Youth. Families will be asked to reapply each year so that support can be reviewed fairly.
