James Tobias has a special Christmas message for Henley

Christmas is getting closer, which can only mean one thing at The Kenton.

Panto is coming back.

This December, Immersion Theatre returns to Henley with Dick Whittington, and James Tobias, co-founder and Artistic Director of Immersion Theatre, has a special message for Kenton audiences.

James and the Immersion team have become a huge part of Christmas at The Kenton, creating the fast-paced, colourful and brilliantly silly pantomimes our audiences return to year after year.

And their connection with our theatre goes back rather further than you might think.

Following a performance of Peter Pan in 2014, James proposed to fellow Immersion Theatre founder Rochelle Parry right here on The Kenton stage. More than a decade later, they are still bringing Christmas magic back to that same stage.

This Christmas, it’s Dick Whittington

Join Dick as he heads to London in search of fame and fortune, accompanied by the funkiest feline in town, Timmy the cat.

But deep beneath the city, King Rat and his rodent army have other ideas…

Expect big laughs, brilliant songs, larger-than-life characters, plenty of audience participation and all the traditional panto magic you know and love.
