Every performance at The Kenton is made possible by our incredible volunteers. From welcoming audiences and serving behind the bar to working backstage and supporting our marketing, our volunteers are at the heart of everything we do.

Volunteer at The Kenton
More than 120 people already give their time to support the theatre, helping us welcome audiences, run performances and keep this much-loved regional theatre thriving.
The Kenton simply couldn’t do what it does without its volunteers. We are looking for volunteers who can usually commit to at least two shifts a month. This helps us plan ahead, support our audiences properly and make sure every volunteer feels part of the team.
You don’t need theatre experience. Just enthusiasm, reliability and a desire to be part of a friendly team at the heart of Henley.
Volunteering at The Kenton is a brilliant way to meet people, learn new skills, build confidence and support the arts locally. Depending on the role, there may also be opportunities to watch shows, take part in training and join volunteer social events.
We are currently looking for volunteers in the following areas:
Usher
Bar
Coffee Bar
Front of House Manager
Stage Manager
Box Office
Marketing
Administration
