Mike Hurst – with a little help from his friends

Like many others I have Parkinsons, and have done for the last three years, but like many we are not sure what it is! Parkinsons can affect you in different ways: movement, tremors, memory, voice control, to name a few. There is no cure, but as Winston Churchill said, ‘we keep buggering on’.

I have asked music legends I have worked with all my life if they would help. Shakin’ Stevens, Tim Rice, P P Arnold, Mike D’Abo, and others agreed to take part.

All proceeds from ticket sales and donations will go to Parkinsons UK.

My family have been a part of the Kenton Theatre history for over half a century, and they have all helped to put the shows together. So please come to The Kenton on Saturday 7th or Sunday 8th September to support a worthy cause.
