Alison Larkin is a best-selling Novelist, and Comedian. She found true love for the first time in her 50’s with an Indian climate scientist who had also immigrated to the US.
Then he died.

But something wildly unexpected happened.

Instead of wanting to hide under the bed and never come out, Alison found herself wanting to live and love more fully than ever before. When Archbishop Desmond Tutu found out about it, he insisted she write this show.

She has talked about her story on BBC Woman’s Hour, and is publishing Grief…A Comedy as a book in 2024. Alison Larkin is also the best-selling author of The English American, which was published by Simon & Schuster in 2009 and named ‘most powerful book of the season’ by Vogue.

“Alison Larkin is marvellously light-footed…hugely entertaining”
