The Bonzo Dog Doo-Dah Band is legend. Ask anyone.
Ask Bonzo the Dog.
On a miserable November night (probably) Mr Wonderful (“Legs” Larry Smith) will gather dear friends Rodney Desborough Slater, Roger Ruskin-Spear (Bonzos), Miss Pamela Des Barres (Frank Zappa’s GTO’s), Michael Livesley (our heady compère), Guy Dagul (piano), Yvonne Innes, Susie Honeyman (violin), Sharon Landau (refreshments) and Mr Phillip Parr (DIY).
They will gamely answer questions (mostly unfit for television) and talk about life, dreams, art, music, performance and an enlightenment regarding ‘life in the sixties/seventies’. The renaissance, no less.
They will talk of working friendships with such folk as the Beatles, George Harrison, John Cale, Liberace, Mick Jagger, McDonald’s, Arther Askey, Elton John, Eric Clapton, Jimi Hendricks, Groucho Marx, Mae West, The Oxford Union, Carnegie Hall, Harry Belafonte, Keith Moon and Larry’s newsagent – Jack Patel.
We promise you an evening like no other.
We dare you . . .
